ARWZ sells a variety of advertising packages in various price ranges on a per month basis. If science fiction, fantasy and horror fans are the audiences you are aiming to reach, purchasing advertising space on ARWZ.com is a great addition to your marketing strategy. Advertising on ARWZ supports the magazine by helping to cover our basic running costs and puts us closer to our goal of offering professional rates for fiction.
Ad Space Locations
All advertising packages include one or more (in combination) of our regular ad space locations. Prices vary depending on location (see specific packages for cost information):
MAGAZINE HEADER: A display of five text links in rotation above the "Alternative Reality Web Zine" title on every page of the Magazine (i.e. NOT the forums). Note, these advertisements do not appear on the front page.
MAGAZINE TOP BOX: A 200x100 image link in rotation above the main content but below the Magazine Header, to the right of the "Alternative Reality Web Zine" title on every page (except the front page) of the magazine.
FRONT PAGE HEADER: A 468x60 image banner link in rotation above the "Alternative Reality Web Zine" title on the front page (arwz.com/index.html) of the Magazine.
MAGAZINE FOOTER: A 468x60 image banner link in rotation, located below the page content and above the ISSN on every page of the Magazine (i.e. NOT the forums).
FORUM TOP BOX: A 200x100 image link in rotation above the forum table, to the right of the "Alternative Reality Web Zine" title on our ARWZ Community Forums. It loads on every single page view in the Community Forums sub-domain (http://www.arwz.com/arwz).
FORUM FOOTER: A 468x60 image banner link in rotation below the forum table on our ARWZ Community Forums. This space is located specifically below the forum table and above the ISSN. It loads on every single page view in the Community Forums sub-domain (http://www.arwz.com/arwz).
LEFT NAVBAR: A 120X240 image link in rotation below the magazine links in the left margin (the red navbar) of Magazine and/or Forum pages.
Packages
All advertising packages are sold in month-long blocks. They range from the more expensive to the less expensive, depending on whether you wish to purchase Full Site, Forums Only, or Magazine Only. Prices provided are for one month. Rotation schemes for all our ads are random. However, to ensure that your advertisement gets due attention, we limit the number of competing ads in rotation for each adspace. Your ad will never be part of a pool larger than our specified maximum for a given adspace. See specific packages below for more information.

We recommend purchasing text links (package 8) and banner links (package 11) in combination.

As mentioned above, all ad space locations or packages with a combination thereof are sold in month-long blocks. This means that your image or text ad will be in rotation on ARWZ for the duration of one month in the purchased location(s). Payment must be received before ad enters rotation.
All ads and the websites they link to will be reviewed for content prior to any transaction, and we reserve the right to refuse to sell advertising packages to any website we find offensive.
